Life has not been easy, but my life has been worth living. When I think about all the happy times, it outweighs the bad times. But I am profoundly grateful for the bad times because that’s when I thought critically and grew as a person into a woman of substance and purpose. Today I am a mother of 5 children and a one-time grandmother, wife, and pet owner. I love these roles I have but realized one day I needed just more self-fulfillment. I raised my children, and I went back to school, got my associate degree, and now working on my bachelor’s degree. It’s my time now to find myself and see what I can and could be if I had made different choices in life previously. I pray that if you are reading this book; it makes a fundamental difference in your life.

Pushing Through Adversity is the next part of My Unfinished Story, which is my introduction to a world of soon-to-be clients and people who seek my advice, my introduction was to allow you to see that I am ordinary, for such a time as this!

Pushing through adversity is expressing the truth about our experiences and circumstances and facing them/our truth head-on!

Pushing through adversity is admitting we are born into sin and shaped by iniquity, Psalm 51:5; Surely, I was sinful at birth, sinful from the time my mother conceived me, (Palmer, 1995).

Pushing through adversity is expressing emotions and admitting to yourself and others that you are right or wrong! Or your opinion of a thing matters.

Pushing through adversity is when circumstances look like we are losing but, in the end, we win!
